Neighbourhood

Culture is very important in the south of France. Many famous painters and writers spent a period of their lives in this region. Countless museums, some dedicated exclusively to one of these artists, such as the Picasso Museum in neighbouring Antibes or the Matisse Museum in Nice, bear witness to their work. You can admire pottery in Vallauris, glassblowing in Biot and much more in the surrounding area. Interesting courses in artistic design are also offered.

The range of sporting activities is inexhaustible. Besides the sea with all kinds of water sports, there are five renowned golf courses and several tennis courts within a radius of ten kilometres. If you don't want to try it yourself, you can watch the traditional game of pétanque in many places as a spectator on a café terrace with a relaxing pastis or glass of rosé.

In terms of cuisine, no wishes are left unfulfilled. From the rustic village bar to simple or trendy beach restaurants to the glamorous 3-star restaurant, everything is represented. In spring, the Grand Prix in Monte Carlo, the film festival in Cannes and in summer countless music or gourmet festivals throughout the region attract visitors.
